Hometown: Sunfish Lake, Minn. Degree: MPH, The Dartmouth Institute for Health Policy and Clinical PracticeAs a student at Colby College, Conor Richardson majored in biology, earned EMT-B certification; was a member of the Pre-Health Society and the Student Programming Board; volunteered with Colby Cares About Kids and at a community clinic in Guatemala; and played club hockey. At Dartmouth, he has been a member of the Graduate Student Council; served as student editor of the Journal for Continuing Education in the Health Professions; developed a series of workshops on healthy eating and active living for high-risk teens in White River Junction, Vt.; wrote articles for several peer-reviewed journals; did a capstone thesis evaluating a weight-management program; and played club hockey. His post-graduation plans include travel, work, and then medical school.Marshals are carefully selected by fellow students for their citizenship, enthusiasm, integrity, and positive impact on others. The marshals carry batons engraved with their names as they lead their classmates to the Green during the Commencement academic procession.
